Brenda’s background in college admissions and enrollment management makes her an invaluable addition to our team.
This summer, Brenda Brooks became the newest member of the Richardson Media Group team after spending the past 12 years in college admissions and enrollment management. Much of her career centered around developing strategic recruitment and communications plans with a strong focus on lead generation and conversion.
As the Director of Admissions at UNH’s public law school and prior to that at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, a private undergraduate college in Riverdale, New York, Brenda coordinated comprehensive digital, print, and direct marketing plans designed to meet and exceed enrollment goals. She enthusiastically led her team to produce on-time, on-brand, and on-budget results.
She also played a critical role in implementing UNH’s undergraduate recruitment database. By leveraging the Salesforce CRM to target specific audiences, she mapped out a communications plan that was responsive to student behaviors.
“It’s exciting to move a student from lead to inquiry then applicant to enrollment,” says Brenda. “The customer journey needs to strike a balance between marketing automation and high-touch personal follow-up. That balance looks different at each school.”

Brenda feels right at home working with our secondary school and higher education clients. She’s quickly gaining an appreciation for how technology, finance, and nonprofit organizations use paid media tactics, content, and SEO marketing to raise awareness and generate leads for their businesses.
